Rebuilding Sri Lanka: A Sixth IT Lab Comes to Galdeniya Vidyalaya, Giriulla

Galdeniya Vidyalaya, Giriulla has been selected as the recipient of the sixth IT laboratory established under the Rebuilding Sri Lanka project, extending the initiative's reach further into the country's schools.

The new laboratory is equipped with brand new Core i5 PCs, each fitted with 8GB RAM and a 512GB SSD, alongside 22 inch monitors, UPS units, and computer tables and chairs, giving students a complete, properly resourced space to learn on rather than a handful of donated machines pieced together.

This milestone continues Technocity's commitment to enhancing digital learning opportunities and strengthening the education sector, one school at a time. For the students of Galdeniya Vidyalaya, it means real, hands-on access to modern computing and the digital skills that increasingly shape both further education and future employment.

The official handover was carried out by Mr. Gehan Thangappan, Director of Technocity Pvt Ltd, Mr. Hemal Chandrathne, Head of Services at Technocity Pvt Ltd, and Mr. Mohamed Inshaf, Manager at Laptop.lk Pvt Ltd.

Together, these laboratories are building a smarter and stronger future for Sri Lanka, one classroom at a time.
